Hi friends! I  am still living on cloud 9 thinking about Lucy and my special ‘just us’ weekend in NYC together! 🥰 We were there for just over 48 hours had THE best time bopping around and spending individual time together. We recently got back from our trip to New England! One of the highlights of the trip was exploring so many wonderful Maine beaches! At the beginning of August, we flew to California for a kid-free vacation! We flew to LA and dropped the girls (and Jack) off at Eric’s parents house, and we drove up the coast visiting our favorite spots. A few weeks ago, we decided to do a one night staycation at the Opryland hotel to visit the Soundwaves water park! I’ve walked around the hotel a few times (mostly to see the holiday lights!) but haven’t stayed there. We’d heard amazing things about their new-ish water park that is connected to the hotel, Soundwaves, and finally decided to give it a try! Soundwaves is a “three level, indoor/outdoor, luxury water attraction” in Nashville — it’s only about 20 minutes from our house so it made for a very easy staycation.
