sf adventures: bernal heights

sf adventures: bernal heights

i recently spent a lovely wednesday afternoon exploring a san francisco neighborhood that i haven’t really explored, ever. bernal heights is south of the mission neighborhood {one i’m in very frequently!} and around the beautiful bernal hill park with 360-degree views of SF. the neighborhood is quiet, but has a ton of charm and one i definitely want to spend more time in! here’s a few awesome spots in bernal heights to visit next time you’re in the area! bernal hill – great spot for a picnic or just to catch beautiful views {especially at sunset!} of this fantastic city cafe st. jorge – adorable cafe on mission street […]

gyms & studios: where to work out in san francisco

gyms & studios: where to work out in san francisco

hi friends! i definitely wouldn’t describe myself as an athletic person, but i am someone who is active. i bike to work {5 miles roundtrip} almost every day, i frequently walk places rather than take public transit and i work out 4-5 days/week. i don’t like focusing on a fitness goal like losing weight or to get a six-pack {although both would be nice!}, but instead on just by being there and doing the workout. i can always tell when i need a good workout because i just feel off. anyone else? working out or doing a class at a studio simply makes me feel better – physically, emotionally […]

sf adventures: date night in north beach

sf adventures: date night in north beach

on sunday, E & I decided we wanted to explore an area of town that we don’t frequently visit. we tend to stick to the same 5-6 neighborhoods, but there are so many great spots in the city that we haven’t been to yet! we ended up visiting the northeast corner of the city, the jackson square and north beach neighborhoods. we bopped into some shops, grabbed drinks at a few new places we’ve never been to before {but heard great things about} and ended the night with a super tasty dinner. we had a blast and were completely charmed by the neighborhoods we’ve previously always bucketed […]

I’m a sucker for cute places, whether it’s a clothing boutique, flower shop or card store and love spending time slowly wandering through the stores admiring the interior and details.
