If you know Lucy, you know how OBSESSED she is with bunnies. She sleeps with 10+ stuffed animal bunnies and loves reading books about bunnies! In the almost three years since she’s been born, we’ve acquired a LOT of books about rabbits and bunnies. I believe it’s important to go “all-in” on whatever your kids love and are interested in, so if Lucy is into bunnies, so am I! We spend a lot of time reading about bunnies, so I wanted to share a few books we own and love. Note: The ones italicized below we do not own YET, but they look awesome, too!
I divided the list in between baby/young toddler and toddler/little kids, but honestly, Lucy is almost three and still reads the ‘baby’ books all the time. I divided them up this way so you can see which ones are more simple, rhyme, board book types vs. books with a storyline / plot. Hope that makes sense! 🐰
I linked to books on Amazon for convenience, but if you can, try to shop from a local bookshop or secondhand store. If you’re in Nashville, check out Parnassus Books or McKays. You can also find a list of Black-owned book shops in this post. Borrowing from the library is also a great option! Most of the books we’ve acquired Lucy has been given for birthday, holiday, or ‘just because’ gifts because everyone knows she loves them so much.
Without further ado, here’s 30 books about bunnies for kids! 💛
