I’m often asked about what toys our girls use and what our favorites are, so decided to do a big round-up of alllll the toys we own and use on a regular basis. This doesn’t include books, but I will try to do a big book blog post soon! A few of our favorite larger toy brands that we own multiple products from and are super impressed with the quality of are Melissa and Doug, Lovevery, Hape, Tender Leaf Toys, Plan Toys, Mudpuppy, and Manhattan Toy. We also have many toys from smaller shops that we LOVE. Without further ado, here’s a massive list of toys we own and love!

LOVEVERY PLAY KITS
I’ve heard about Lovevery for YEARS and everyone I knew who had them, loved the play kits. Recently, the company has gifted us some of the play kits and I will say first hand, they are really awesome! These are stage-based play kits for kids from newborn to age 4 and I’ve been BLOWN AWAY at how thoughtfully designed they are. Each play kit is based on a child’s age with toys, books, and activities specific for what your child is learning/how they are developing during that time. The play kits also come with a ‘play guide’ that shares more about why Lovevery included each toy, and how to play with that toy with your child. The guides give development info , plus activities and ideas for how to use the play kit with your child.
Our girls tend to share play kits, meaning sometimes Winnie plays with the ‘big kid’ toys and sometimes Lucy loves the ‘little kid’ toys from different play kits. That’s okay with me!

PUZZLES, GAMES, ETC.
PUZZLES: Little Like Kids, Puzzle Huddle, Melissa & Doug, Mudpuppy are our favorites! I love Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles especially for babies and younger toddlers, like this shape one.I I love Mudpuppy for adorable animal images and they have great options for toddlers and big kids (we have 36 piece, 48 piece, and 64 piece puzzles from this brand). Our very favorites are the MUDPUPPY 36 PIECE TO-GO PUZZLES (we have four of these and LOVE them). I also love Little Like Kids and Puzzle Huddle (both Black-owned businesses) for showing diverse characters in puzzles.
