san francisco: day in dogpatch

Mission Rock Resort

hi friends and happy december {i can’t even believe it’s already december!?} two weekends ago, we ventured over to a neighborhood i haven’t been to very often on the far east side of town called dogpatch. we didn’t have any set plans except to have a coffee, but it ended up being a full afternoon adventure checking out lots of cool places {and also eating those tasty fries}! i am already planning my new venture over there to play.

i added all of the places we visited to my sf adventures pinterest map and included a few of my favorites below for you! if you live in sf, definitely head over there and if you’re visiting, don’t overlook this ‘hood!

awesome spots to visit in dogpatch, san francisco:

La Fromagerie: adorable cheese shop; highly recommend stopping by for samples or to pick up things for an afternoon picnic

Mission Rock Resort: waterfront restaurant and bar with amazing view and patio! also where those tasty fries up there are from!

Triple VooDoo Brewery: cool and laid-back brewery right in the heart of dogpatch

Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous: MAJOR yum. arguably the best ice cream in san francisco!

The Ramp: divey waterfront bar with cheap food and drinks. bonus: live music and salsa dancing on saturday afternoons!

haven’t been {but on my list!}:

Dignita: this coffee shop was the reason we went to dogpatch in the first place, but it was closed! it’s only open mondays – fridays

Smokestack by Magnolia: the second location of the oh-so-popular magnolia brewery. i didn’t eat/drink here, but peeked in and the interior was BEAUTIFUL and the vibe looked super fun.

Long Bridge Pizza Company: small pizza shop right on 3rd street. i saw a few people bringing this pizza into triple voodoo for lunch too!

Serpentine: i’m dying to come here for brunch soon!

Piccino: i’ve heard amazing things about this place for both brunch and dinner and definitely need to go {especially after reading about it from my good friend shikha}
