sf adventures: bernal heights

Pinhole Coffee

i recently spent a lovely wednesday afternoon exploring a san francisco neighborhood that i haven’t really explored, ever. bernal heights is south of the mission neighborhood {one i’m in very frequently!} and around the beautiful bernal hill park with 360-degree views of SF. the neighborhood is quiet, but has a ton of charm and one i definitely want to spend more time in! here’s a few awesome spots in bernal heights to visit next time you’re in the area!

bernal hill – great spot for a picnic or just to catch beautiful views {especially at sunset!} of this fantastic city

cafe st. jorge – adorable cafe on mission street with good coffee, wifi and yummy avocado and chili flake toast {and way more good stuff}

holy water – trendy cocktail bar on cortland ave. must visit!

the epicurean trader – amazing artisan food and beverage shop that sells sandwiches and snacks perfect for that bernal hill picnic, plus wine, chocolates and other goods, all with beautiful packaging and supporting smaller brands

heartfelt – cute gift shop with a great selection of cards and “i don’t know what to get my friend” gifts

succulence – omg! this place is amazing. it’s a flower shop filled with succulents everywhere and an amazing back patio

pinhole coffee – arguably, the most colorful and cutest coffee shop in the city. the coffee was amazing and that striped wall is impossible not to instagram {image above}
