30 Things I Don’t Regret Buying

Hi! Today I  wanted to share a list of items – 30 in fact – I *don’t* regret buying! Basically, a bunch things I purchased (and a few that were gifted) that I  still really like a lot and use regularly. In my monthly-ish newsletter I typically include a list of ‘Things I Bought Recently” and/or “Things I Like Lately” and everything below was originally shared in my newsletter at some point in the last year. Hope you enjoy!

PERSONAL

SHOES // These these leather sneakers are so versatile and wear them several times per week! // I love my leather Birks, but this white ‘Eva’ pair  is a less expensive and equally comfortable option. I  have them in white.

MAKEUP + SKINCARE, ETC: // I’m obsessed with ILIA Skin Tint and have bought several bottles over and over again. It is lightweight and dewy coverage with SPF 40! 👏🏽(I wear Paloma color) // This Kiehl’s concentrate smells amazing and leaves my face feeling super hydrated and refreshed. I’m on my third bottle!

ACCESSORIES // This leather cross body bag is in regular rotation. I use this when I don’t need my larger tote/work bag or the diaper bag with me! //  This Satchel Diaper Bag from Fawn Design (gifted) is so so beautiful and has a ton of space inside for storing diapers, wipes, snacks, water bottles, and their little bags of on-the-go toys. I like that this feels more like a chic purse than a diaper bag, especially now that we don’t need to bring *as much* baby/kids stuff with us when we are out and about.

DRESSES // Another clothing item in regular rotation is this pretty blue dress! I’ve worn it all sorts of ways — on its own or with a jacket/sweater over it, with heels, sandals, or sneakers. // I  get compliments every time I wear this pretty puff sleeve smocked dress – I  love it so much!

DENIM // Denim is always tricky for me , but I have found a few I wear regularly, including Old Navy’s Curvy Extra High-Waisted Button-Fly Sky-Hi Straight Jeans and these cropped wide leg jeans from Zara. For shorts, these 90s High-Rise Cutoffs are flattering and comfortable! I have in a regular denim wash and black.

OTHER // I loooove Youswim swimsuits –  they have thick, super flexible fabric and are ‘one size fits most’. They are so cute and really make me feel confident and GOOD! Plus, I love how the brand’s inclusive marketing/photography showing people of all body types/sizes, skin tones, etc. I have the Eva High Waist Two-Piece in Sage and the Poise High Waist Two-Piece in Aster. // I’m all about period undies during that time of the month, as well as the Period Sleep Shorts for nighttime. So comfy and very absorbent. // these Lululemon Align legging Amazon knockoffs are excellent. I  have two and wear regularly! // This book has been very comforting to me, and would make for a great gift: To Light Their Way: A Collection of Prayers and Liturgies for Parents

FOR KIDS

OUTDOOR PLAY // Can’t wait to break out this splash pad this summer! The girls loved in last year! // We first bought a mini Micro Kickboard scooter in 2019 when Lucy was two and have used it regularly since! Now, Winnie uses the mini version and Lucy upgraded to the Maxi Deluxe scooter. // This bubble machine camera is a HUGE hit at our house!

CLOTHES // Hanna Andersson makes the best pajamas in my opinion. They have adorable patterns and hold up really well in the wash. 10/10 from me! //  I love H&M’s cute, neutral basics for kids. We’ve gotten a version of this 2 Piece Sweatshirt Set for Lucy and Winnie in a few different sizes/patterns in the last year.

TOYS // The girls are obsessed with the Schleich animals they got for Christmas! They have played with them almost every single day, and we usually tuck a few in the diaper bag for on-the-go play too.

MEALTIME // Both girls now use a version of this lunchbox for their four days at school and it’s AWESOME! //We have four or give of these chic, easy-to-wash snack cups (code ANDI25 gets you 25%)

OTHER // The girls got the Toniesbox for Christmas and it’s been a huge hit! If you don’t know, Toniesbox is basically a screen-free, portable story time and music box where you can buy different ‘Tonies’ characters that play/read different things. The girls love swapping characters on the top (Elmo, Paw Patrol, Disney, etc.) and it keeps them happy and occupied in their room! 💛

FOR HOME & TRAVEL

ORGANIZATION // We have two of these lidded baskets are my new favorites for hiding toys, storing blankets, etc. They aren’t cheap, but even the small and medium sizes hold SO MUCH and they look gorgeous.

DECOR // I love the look of these concrete pedestal accent tables and they make for a great drink holder, or place to display pretty flowers. 🌻

KIDS // We’ve only had this little table + chair set for about a month, but the girls sit here every single day for art time and seem to love having a table and chairs that is just their own. 🖍🎨 Lalo gifted us the ‘Play Kit’ (kids table + set of two chairs) – you can mix and match the colors of table/chairs, but I just went with the simple ‘Coconut’ color.  // After months of being home and lots of neighborhood walks, we decided IT WAS TIME for a double stroller. This one is lightweight, easy to fold, comfortable for the girls, easy to adjust the handlebar depending on who is using it, can be used for running, and bonus…looks sleek and pretty. 💁🏼‍♀️

TRAVEL // We started as a no-double stroller family and now have two 🙆🏻‍♀️. This lightweight double stroller has been a lifesaver for traveling with both girls. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, reclines very far back for naps, and so much more. // Both girls have these kids headphones for  travel! They are ~$15 and we’ve used Lucy’s for two years now!
